This conference is designed for physicians, paramedics, nurses, and nurse practitioners working in or interested in working in Urgent Care Centres (UCC). The content will provide participants with an update on Urgent Care relevant topics and clinical conditions.

Physicians and nurses who work in emergency care in a rural hospital setting will also benefit.

Conference objectives are:

• Increase knowledge and practical application of skills required in an Urgent Care setting, resulting in successful and confident patient management

• Increase knowledge of various presentations and how to manage them within the Urgent Care setting and when to refer, so that patients receive timely, appropriate treatment or referrals

• Enhance inter-professional relationships through shared learning and networking opportunities resulting in more collaborative practice
