This conference is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics and medical trainees working in Urgent Care Centres (UCC) and rural hospital settings.
Conference objectives are:
Increase knowledge and practical application of skills required in an Urgent Care setting, resulting in successful and confident patient management
Increase knowledge of various presentations and how to manage them within the Urgent Care setting and when to refer, so that patients receive timely, appropriate treatment or referrals
Enhance inter-professional relationships through shared learning and networking opportunities resulting in more collaborative practice
This 1 credit per hour Group Learning Program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 6.5 Mainpro+® credits.
